EBENSBURG — An 11-run first inning helped the Central Cambria High School softball team dominate Cambria Heights, 17-5, in five innings on Friday.

Camryn Matlin went 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Lady Devils, Avery Biter drove in two runs, and Kaydence Sinclair and Bailee Saylor each drove in a pair. Rowyn Ruddek earned the win.

Hallie Hayes had three hits and three RBIs for Heights.

Barra leads CC

EBENSBURG — Rocco Barra went 3-for-4 with three RBIs as Central Cambria downed Cambria Heights, 16-6, in six innings in high school baseball.

Jack Dawson had two hits and two RBIs, JD Brouse and Ben Muldoon each had two hits, and Logan Black drove in two runs.

Alex Wingard didn’t allow an earned run in four innings to earn the win. Bryce Lewis had two hits for Heights.
