PORTAGE — Portage cruised past Homer-Center, 59-43, with the help of a 20-point game by Kendall Bednarski Tuesday night in girls high school basketball.
Cassie Burkett and Britton Myher each added 11 points for the Lady Mustangs, who improved to 8-6 overall and 6-3 in the Heritage Conference with the victory.

Bordack leads GCS
Ava Bordack poured in 27 points as Great Commission School rolled past Clearfield Alliance Christian, 50-16, in girls basketball at Wright Place for Kidz.
Bordack also contributed six rebounds and six steals. Alexa Hall collected 11 points and seven assists for the Lady Bears.

Lions rally
Altoona rallied past Central Cambria with third-period goals by Hayden Hosgood and Connor Stivers in a 4-3 triumph at Galactic Ice in high school hockey.
Hosgood finished with two goals, and Owen Wasovich also scored for Altoona. Brayden Rado had a hat trick for Central Cambria, scoring all three of his goals in the second period.

PORTAGE — The Portage Area High School rifle team slipped past Northern Cambria, 1,107-1,089, at the Portage Revolver and Pistol Club.
Ana Selapack fired a 254 to lead Portage, now 2-2, and Isabella Scarton had a 248. Anna Griffiths led Northern Cambria with a match-high 282.
