By Michael Boytim 3 min read

FRIDAY

Altoona (4-4) at Cedar Cliff (2-6), 7

Notable: Cedar Cliff has won both meetings since being added to Lions' schedule. Altoona last beat CC in 2007.

Williamsport (6-2) at Hollidaysburg (5-2), 7

Notable: Common opponent Jersey Shore lost to both, 32-28, to Millionaires, 50-18 to Golden Tigers.

Bellwood-Antis (6-2) at Bellefonte (5-3), 7

Notable: Red Raiders will be the top seed in the District 6 Class 4A playoffs and beat Richland last week.

Bishop Guilfoyle (7-1) at Clearfield (4-4), 7

Notable: Marauders beat the Bison, 20-13, in inaugural LHAC meeting last season.

Central (7-1) at Bald Eagle Area (4-4), 7

Notable: Despite being 4-4, BEA is ahead of 5-3 Southern Huntingdon in 2A rankings in power points.

Huntingdon (4-4) at Penns Valley (2-6), 7

Notable: Cole Lane is averaging nearly 7 yards per rush with 966 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

Johnstown (1-7) at Penn Cambria (5-3), 7

Notable: Big game for Panthers, who are just 30 points ahead of Tyrone. With Trojans at 4A, a win means extra points.

Richland (7-1) at Bedford (2-6), 7

Notable: Loss to Bellefonte didn't drop Richland, but if Mount Union wins out and Rams lose LHAC final, it would.

Somerset (1-7) at Central Cambria (6-2), 7

Notable: Though it could have moved up with a win at Central, Red Devils remain slotted No. 3 comfortably.

Tyrone (4-4) at Philipsburg-Osceola (4-4), 7

Notable: Playoffs start now for these two teams in a defacto District 6 Class 3A elimination game.

Westmont Hilltop (2-6) at Chestnut Ridge (2-6), 7

Notable: Penns Valley's win over Johnstown last week dropped Westmont out of the playoff field for now in 2A.

Curwensville (0-8) at Juniata Valley (5-3), 7

Notable: Even with a win, the Hornets may drop in 1A standings from third to fourth with McCort playing 4A Forest Hills.

Everett (1-7) at Meyersdale (5-3), 7

Notable: Warriors have scored 34 of their 47 points this year in the last two weeks.

Moshannon Valley (5-3) at Claysburg-Kimmel (1-7), 7

Notable: Black Knights and Bulldogs have split the last six meetings, and C-K has won the last two.

West Branch (2-6) at Glendale (4-4), 7

Notable: If the playoffs started today, Vikings would play Juniata Valley, a team they own a win over already.

Windber (5-4) at Northern Bedford (4-4), 7

Notable: Black Panthers are 3-2 against the Ramblers in the last five meetings, including a 28-21 win last year.

Cambria Heights (8-0) at Homer-Center (7-1), 7

Notable: The winner of this game will be in line to win the Heritage Conference championship.

Northern Cambria (4-4) at Conemaugh Township (6-2), 7

Notable: If the playoffs started today, Colts would get a rematch with Homer-Center, a team they lost to 35-28.

Portage (3-5) at Purchase Line (3-5), 7

Notable: This game basically serves as a play-in game for the eighth District 6 Class 1A playoff spot.

Starting at /week.
