By Michael Boytim 2 min read

FRIDAY

Chambersburg (1-4) at Altoona (3-2), 7

Notable: Chambersburg snapped a five-game series losing streak to Altoona last year in a 28-10 win.

Bishop Guilfoyle (4-1) at Tyrone (3-2), 7

Notable: With its loss to Bellwood-Antis last week, Tyrone is currently outside the 3A playoff field.

Chestnut Ridge (2-3) at Central Cambria (4-1), 7

Notable: Red Devils have not won more than four games since 2014 when they finished 5-5.

Forest Hills (2-3) at Bedford (1-4), 7

Notable: At 2-3, Rangers are current No. 2 seed in District 6 Class 4A, just behind Bellefonte.

Huntingdon (2-3) at Central (4-1), 7

Notable: A Central win would do wonders for Dragons' playoff hopes and basically end Bearcats' shot.

Penn Cambria (3-2) at Westmont Hilltop (2-3), 7

Notable: Panthers are also now currently on the outside of the District 6 Class 3A playoff field.

Philipsburg-Osceola (4-1) at Bellwood-Antis (4-1), 7

Notable: Blue Devils had not lost to P-O since 2007 before a 31-28 Mountaineers win last season.

Glendale (2-3) at Mount Union (5-0), 7

Notable: Through five games, Mount Union's Nasir Collins has 775 yards and 19 touchdowns rushing.

Juniata Valley (3-2) at Moshannon Valley (4-1), 7

Notable: Green Hornets have won six of the last seven meetings, but Mo Valley won 38-21 in 2024.

North Star (4-1) at Everett (0-5), 7

Notable: Neither team played last week. North Star won by forfeit, and Everett has forfeited two in a row.

Northern Bedford (2-3) at Tussey Mountain (0-5), 7

Notable: Titans scored 13 points last week against Meyersdale, doubling their season total.

Southern Huntingdon (3-2) at Claysburg-Kimmel (0-5), 7

Notable: Rockets are trying to win their fourth game for the first time since going 7-4 in 2022.

Conemaugh Valley (0-5) at Cambria Heights (5-0), 7

Notable: Jays have been outscored 237-46. Heights has outscored opponents, 172-49.

Northern Cambria (2-3) at West Shamokin (1-4), 7

Notable: Since the Wolves joined the Heritage, Colts have not lost on the field to them (forfeit in '21).

Penns Manor (1-4) at Portage (2-3), 7

Notable: Comets have won four of the last five meetings including last year's 21-20 triumph.

Butler (3-2) at Hollidaysburg (3-2), 7

Notable: Teams meeting for the fifth year in a row, and the Golden Tigers have won the last three.
