Sport: Basketball
Position: Forward
College choice: Shippensburg
Other college considered: Bloomsburg
Why I picked Shippensburg: “Overall, I liked the campus. When I met the team, I felt very welcomed. I loved the atmosphere and the coaches. It was the perfect fit for me.”
Greatest high school achievement: “Scoring my 1,000th point with my sister playing beside me; making all-conference and all-state teams; making playoff runs with my team; setting new school records for blocked shots in one game, in one season and for a career.”
Coach Jim Swaney’s quote: “Lilly is one of the best players I have ever coached. She is a true leader. Lilly grew up in a basketball family, and her dad has done a great job in teaching her the game. I am excited to see her college career. Shippensburg is getting a player with an enormous potential to grow on her already outstanding skills. They are also getting a student-athlete, who will work as hard in the classroom as she does on the court. Lilly is making a great choice for her future, and I could not be happier for her.”
How I got my start in basketball: “My dad was a head coach, and I was always at games and practices watching him. I started playing in third grade and just fell in love with the game.”
