Makenna Weimert has big night in Lady Tigers’ win

DuBOIS — The Hollidaysburg girls basketball team jumped out to a 29-12 first-quarter lead Monday night en route to a 73-40 win over DuBois in high school action.
The Lady Tigers, who improved to 6-2, got 24 points from Makenna Weimert to go with 14 points from Clare Padamonsky and 12 points from Jillian Sidney.
DuBois, which fell to 4-5, was led by Claire Kennis’ 13 points.
