Friday night will be a busy one for the remaining area teams in high school football.
District 6 Class 1A champion Bishop Guilfoyle Academy will stay within the district and play Westinghouse at Johnstown's Trojan Stadium at 7 p.m. in a game between two of the best schools in their classification in the state.
In other state quarterfinal games that night, Hollidaysburg will travel to Mechanicsburg's John Frederick Field to play Roman Catholic at 7 p.m., and Bedford will play Troy at Lock Haven University at the same time.
Two other District 6 champions will take turns playing at Armstrong High School in Kittanning over the weekend.
Penn Cambria will play District 10 champion Hickory on Friday at 7 p.m. in a 3A game, and Cambria Heights will play a 2A quarterfinal game against District 9's Central Clarion at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
In other games of local interest, State College will play Central Catholic on Friday in a 6A game at Forest Hills, and Clearfield will take on Thomas Jefferson in a 4A game at Windber, also on Friday.
