Tyrone plays Penn Cambria in 3A football final Friday

The four remaining girls soccer teams in the Mirror's core coverage area will all be staying close to home in the first round of the PIAA tournament, which begins on Tuesday.
Bishop Guilfoyle Academy and Altoona will play in a doubleheader at Mansion Park.
The Lady Marauders kick it off with a 5 p.m. game against District 10 champion Seneca in the Class 1A field. Following that game, Altoona will host WPIAL runner-up Seneca Valley at 7 p.m. in a 4A game.
In Class 3A, Hollidaysburg will host WPIAL runner-up Fox Chapel at 6 p.m., and in Class 2A, Cambria Heights will host District 3 runner-up Trinity at 5:30 p.m.
In that same bracket, undefeated District 5 champion Bedford will take on WPIAL third-place finisher North Catholic at Windber at 6 p.m. The Bedford boys will host WPIAL runner-up Avonworth at 6 p.m. in the 2A field the same night.

Mansion Park will be the site of Friday's Tyrone-Penn Cambria District 6 Class 3A championship football game at 7 p.m.
That same night, Bedford will take on Berlin Brothersvalley at Windber for the District 5 Class 2A title at 7 p.m., and Hollidaysburg will host DuBois for the Class 5A subregional title at 7 p.m.
In semifinal play, Bellwood-Antis will travel to Cambria Heights in a Class 2A game on Friday, and Claysburg-Kimmel will take on Bishop Guilfoyle at Tiger Stadium in Hollidaysburg on Saturday at 7 p.m. in a Class 1A semifinal.
Mansion Park will host Bellefonte and Juniata in the District 6 4A championship at 7 p.m. on Saturday, and one hour before that game starts, Northern Bedford will take on Windber for the District 5 Class 1A championship at Somerset.
