Notable: The Mountain Lions have won four straight in the series and have beaten Chambersburg 10 of the last 12 meetings.

Bedford (5-2) at Central (5-2), 7

Central Cambria (0-7) at Tyrone (3-4), 7

Notable: Tyrone won last year's regular season game, but Central Cambria won two previous matchups, both playoff games, in 2007-08.

Chestnut Ridge (4-3) at Bishop Guilfoyle (7-0), 7

Notable: Lions have been one of the few area teams who have hung with BG during its best years. BG is 5-4 over the last 9 meetings.

Forest Hills (3-4) at Huntingdon (0-7), 7

Notable: The Bearcats are 4-40 since last making the postseason in 2019 and are in danger of a third winless season in that period.

McCort-Carroll (4-3) at Bellefonte (5-2), 7

Notable: Despite having to move up to Class 2A this season, McCort-Carroll is currently holding the No. 7 seed in the playoff rankings.

Penn Cambria (7-0) at Bellwood-Antis (5-2), 7

Notable: A loss could make B-A's Week 9 game against Bald Eagle Area critical for making the postseason. A win could mean hosting.

Westmont Hilltop (0-7) at Philipsburg-Osceola (2-5), 7

Notable: Both teams are on the outside of their respective playoff pictures and are unlikely to get in, even if they win out.

Curwensville (2-5) at Juniata Valley (2-5), 7

Notable: Teams have played the last two seasons and split games with similar scores. Overall the Tide outscored JV, 57-50.

Moshannon Valley (5-2) at Claysburg-Kimmel (5-2), 7

Notable: Matchup between the current No. 3 and No. 4 seeds in the District 6 Class 1A playoff rankings. Both teams are 5-0 in ICC North.

Northern Bedford (6-1) at North Star (5-2), 7

Notable: Teams played thriller in Loysburg last season that went down to the wire. Panthers ended up winning 35-34.

Tussey Mountain (1-6) at Everett (2-5), 7

Notable: Titans have won five straight in the series including last year's 28-26 win. Noah Lucko leads TM with 465 rushing yards.

West Branch (0-7) at Glendale (4-3), 7

Notable: Warriors have won three of the last four meetings. Glendale has slipped to No. 6 in the Class 1A playoff rankings.

Conemaugh Township (3-4) at Northern Cambria (6-1), 7

Notable: Colts hold the No. 2 seed in the District 6 Class 1A playoff field after winning it in 2022 and losing in the semis last year.

Homer-Center (2-5) at Cambria Heights (7-0), 7

Notable: Highlanders are the only undefeated team in Class 2A and would play No. 8 United Valley in the playoffs if they started today.

Portage (2-5) at Purchase Line (2-5), 7

Notable: Teams are separated in the Class 1A playoff rankings by 30 power points. Both teams would be on the road.
