Notable: Mountain Lions won the regular season game 35-0 and are trying to top Huskies twice in back-to-back years.

Central Mountain (2) vs. Hollidaysburg (1), 7
Notable: Since 2006, Central Mountain is 0-10 against Hollidaysburg and has allowed at least 35 points in each of the past six games.
CLASS 3A SEMIFINALS
Tyrone (3) at Penn Cambria (2), 7
Notable: Teams split playoff meetings in '20 and '21, both played in Tyrone. Both teams were eliminated in the playoffs by Central in 2022.
CLASS 2A QUARTERFINALS
Bishop Guilfoyle (8) at Bald Eagle Area (1), 7
Notable: Marauders are in the playoffs for the 12th straight season. BG has made the district final nine times in that span and won seven.
CLASS 1A QUARTERFINALS
Marion Center (8) at Northern Cambria (1), 7
Notable: Stingers lost first matchup, 21-7, on Sept. 8 and fell to 0-3. Marion Center went 4-3 the rest of the way to make postseason.
Moshannon Valley (7) at Purchase Line (2), 7
Notable: Teams haven't played recently but were regular scrimmage opponents. Met in 1996 District 6 title game in game won by Knights.
Penns Manor (6) at Juniata Valley (3), 7
Notable: Streaky Comets won three in a row early in the season, lost three in a row and now have won two straight to make playoffs.
West Branch (5) at Cambria Heights (4), 7
Notable: Returning all-state athlete Tyler Biggans has more than 2,000 yards passing for Warriors and nearly 1,000 yards rushing.
DISTRICT 5-8 PLAYOFFS
CLASS 2A SEMIFINALS
Chestnut Ridge (3) at Berlin Brothersvalley (2), 7
Notable: Four different players have at least 400 yards rushing for Berlin Brothersvalley this season led by 622 yards from Cooper Huston.

Meyersdale (4) at Northern Bedford (1), 7
Notable: Meyersdale is 0-3 against the other three teams in the District 5 1A playoffs and has been outscored 114-13 in those games.
