The Central High School football team will continue its trek in the PIAA Class 3A playoffs close to home on Friday.
Central, the District 6 champ, will play District 10 champ Hickory at Mansion Park at 7 p.m. Friday. Central is coming off a double-overtime win over Clearfield in its first interdistrict game.
Cambria Heights, fresh off its first-ever District 6 championship, will head to the state Class 1A playoffs with a Saturday matchup against District 4 champ South Williamsport. The game will be played at Williamsport High School at 7 p.m. Saturday.
District 6 2A champ Bald Eagle Area will play at District 4 champ Southern Columbia at 7 p.m. Friday, and District 6 4A champ Juniata visits District 4 champ Selinsgrove, also 7 p.m. Friday.
