From Mirror reports

JOHNSTOWN -- Bedford could not hold onto an early lead and fell to Richland, 25-23, in a key Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference game Friday night at Herlinger Field.

Ethan Weber opened the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run and scored again on a 2-yard pass from Kevin Ressler after a Bobby Huxta interception, but the Bisons could not hold a 14-0 lead.

Sam Penna ran for two touchdowns and threw a 42-yard score to Evan McCracken to put the Rams up 19-14, but Ressler's 16-yard touchdown run put Bedford back ahead.

Penna connected with McCracken on a 65-yard score to put the Rams ahead for good in the fourth quarter. Bedford made it to the Richland 26 before its final drive stalled, and the Rams took an intentional safety as time expired.
