The Altoona Area High School Board passed a plan Monday night to have 3,400 people attend this Friday's varsity football opener at Mansion Park.
The plan is to have 33% capacity for this week's game against Cumberland Valley. If all goes well, Altoona could bump it up to 50% (5,200) for the Oct. 2 game at Mansion Park against Hollidaysburg.
