Mountain Lions score impressive road win

CARLISLE — The Altoona boys scored 43 points in the second half Wednesday night on the way to a 68-57 victory at Carlisle in high school basketball action.

Altoona, now 4-11, has defeated Carlisle twice this season.

The Mountain Lions, down 14-10 after one quarter, got 21 points from Elliott McCloskey. He also added six rebounds. Ethan Hicks contributed 13 points while Chris Wagner chipped in with 12 points.

Altoona also got eight rebounds from Cody Chathams and five assists from Justin Pfeffer.

The Mountain Lions host Chambersburg Friday at 6:30 p.m.
