Notable: Central senior Dylan Hoover made two free throws with 5.5 seconds left to lift Central to a 46-45 win over Huntingdon in the regular season. Kobe Carthen scored a team-high 15 points for Huntingdon in that game. ... These teams also met in last year's District 5-6 championship game won by Central, 50-41. ... Senior Elliott Guisler leads Huntingdon in scoring, averaging 14.9 points per game. ... Central's Class 4A championship last year was its first district title in 30 years. The Scarlet Dragons won Class 3A championships in 1993 and 1995. ... Huntingdon won three straight Class 4A titles from 2018-2020. ... The Bearcats won Class 3A championships in 1932, 1934, 1945, 1964, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1991, 1994 and 2002. They also won their only 2A title in 1977.
