Gerwert, Sloey lead B-A hoops to victory

BELLEFONTE — Lilly Gerwert and Isabella Sloey led the way for Bellwood-Antis with 19 points apiece in a 67-25 victory over Bellefonte Thursday night in high school girls basketball action.

Marissa Cacciotti knocked down three 3-pointers and totaled 13 points for the Lady Blue Devils which led 45-17 at halftime.

Prough has big night

WILLIAMSBURG — Regan Prough delivered a game-high 31 points, including nine made 3-pointers, to help Williamsburg roll to a 92-8 victory over Mount Union.

Levada Gorsuch posted 17 points, LeeAnna Royer hit for 16, while Bella Royer finished with 10 for the Lady Blue Pirates.

Vikings struggle

FLINTON — Glendale got into a 21-point hole after the first quarter in an eventual 88-33 loss to Southern Huntingdon.

Three Rockets’ players reached double figures as Rowdy Grissinger led the way with 20 points, while Cohen Snyder had 19 and Jase Watkins added 16.
