BOYS

MONDAY

Southern Huntingdon at Claysburg-Kimmel, 7:15

Notable: Good test for Bulldogs, who had a 3-0 week last week. Rockets are 8-5 and a 3A team.

United at Portage, 7

Notable: United is undefeated and state ranked and already has a 73-30 win over the Mustangs this year.

WEDNESDAY

Altoona at Carlisle, 6:30

Notable: Mountain Lions beat Carlisle, 62-60, at the AAHS Fieldhouse on Dec. 16 for its first win.

Bishop Guilfoyle at Clearfield, 7:30

Notable: Bison knocked off Central last week before suffering their first loss to Forest Hills.

Bishop McCort at Bishop Carroll, 7:15

Notable: Huskies are currently the No. 3 seed in Class 1A, and McCort is at No. 2 in Class 2A.

Williamsburg at Central, 7:15

Notable: Matchup between the current top seeds in Class 4A (Central) and 1A (Williamsburg) in District 6.

FRIDAY

Northern Bedford at Everett, 6

Notable: Black Panthers won 51-44 at home on Friday against their rival.

Tyrone at Clearfield, 7:30

Notable: Golden Eagles try to bounce back with a really good win after losing by a point to Richland last week.

United at Cambria Heights, 7

Notable: Highlanders will get their shot at state-ranked Lions in Patton.

SATURDAY

Bishop McCort at Hollidaysburg, 2:30

Notable: Golden Tigers depth may be tested here depending on length of Kasen Metzger’s injury.

GIRLS

MONDAY

Bishop Carroll at Bishop McCort, 7:15

Notable: McCort played one of its best games of the year Friday against Bellwood and will need to again here.

Clearfield at Bishop Guilfoyle, 7:30

Notable: Lady Bison have played Lady Marauders close the last couple years. Morgan Ruggery will be honored for scoring 1,000 points.

Johnstown at Central Cambria, 7:15

Notable: Lady Red Devils keep winning close games. This one will probably be another of those.

TUESDAY

Penn Cambria at Bellwood-Antis, 7

Notable: Penn Cambria’s depth and full-court pressure hurt B-A in win at Tyrone tourney.

THURSDAY

Clearfield at Tyrone, 7:30

Notable: Lady Eagles have had a solid season despite losing Alayna Woomer to an injury early.

Johnstown at Bishop Carroll, 7:15

Notable: Another test for the Lady Huskies, who do not play BG in the regular season this year.

FRIDAY

Williamsburg at Bellwood-Antis, 7:30

Notable: The tables have turned in this rivalry since Jim Swaney’s original retirement in 2023.

SATURDAY

Bishop McCort at Hollidaysburg, 1

Notable: McCort is the second seed in Class 2A, and this game caps a tough week for the Lady Crushers.
