Freshman Nevin Lloyd leads Northern Bedford boys basketball team over Bedford in Thomas Automotive Tournament

LOYSBURG -- Northern Bedford got a game-high 24 points, including four 3-pointers, from freshman Nevin Lloyd in earning a 54-48 season-opening win over Bedford in the semifinals of the Thomas Automotive Tournament on Friday.
Cavan Lloyd also reached double figures for the Black Panthers with 11 points, including three from deep.
Bedford was led by Grey Livengood's 18 points.
NBC will play Everett in Saturday's championship game at 7:30 p.m., while Bedford will face Chestnut Ridge at 4:30 p.m. in the consolation, with both games being played at Chestnut Ridge High School.
The Warriors knocked off the Lions by a 59-53 score in the other semifinal.
