SPRING MILLS -- Lilly Gerwert knocked down four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 29 points, pulled down eight rebounds, blocked five shots and came up with four steals as Bellwood-Antis used a strong fourth quarter to get by Penns Valley, 54-52, in high school girls basketball on Friday.
B-A, which trailed 36-25 after three quarters, used a 29-16 scoring outburst in the final stanza to claim the win.
Cacciotti also reached double figures for the Lady Blue Devils, with 10 points, while also claiming six rebounds and dishing out four assists.

Tigers pull away
CLEARFIELD -- After a close first quarter in which it led by just one, Hollidaysburg turned up its play starting in the second stanza and eventually rolled to an 88-50 victory over Clearfield.
Makenna Weimert hit for a game-high 23 points for the Lady Tigers, Alissa Heim totaled 14 points, Clare Padamonsky accounted for 13, while Jillian Sidney knocked down 12 points - all on 3-pointers.
