PORTAGE -- After losing to Windber on Friday, Portage bounced back and beat the Ramblers, 65-56, in high school boys basketball action on Monday night.
Bode Layo led the way for the Mustangs with a game-high 28 points and also grabbed 10 rebounds. Portage improved to 13-8 overall.
Evan Brady and Grady Klosky each scored 14 points for Windber.

CLAYSBURG -- After ending the first quarter in a tie, Claysburg-Kimmel settled in and took over by owning a 13-point advantage in the second stanza en route to a 64-39 victory over Moshannon Valley on senior night.
Four Bulldogs reached double figures in points as Brayden Haney recorded 23, Elias Ritchey delivered 15 and Aidan Simpson rallied 12.
The Black Knights, which fell to 1-15, were led by Landyn Evans' nine points.
C-K, which upped its record to 11-8, honored four seniors in Ritchey, Simpson, Anthony Napolitano and Erik Potter.
