Guilfoyle brings home victory No. 11

HUNTINGDON — Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic opened up a 44-14 halftime advantage and put it in cruise control in the second half in a 67-30 win over Huntingdon in high school boys basketball action on Wednesday.

Jude Haigh scored 11 points for the Marauders (11-2), and Jake Kissell scored 10.

Eagles hang on

WILLIAMSPORT — Sam Crilly drilled seven 3-pointers and scored 29 points to lead Tyrone to a 63-60 victory over Williamsport.

The Golden Eagles led, 44-19, at halftime and got outscored 41-19 in the second half but hung on for the win. Eli Woomer scored 18 for Tyrone, now 9-6.

Huskies win on road

NEW PARIS — Sophomore Jace Casses had a monster game with 35 points to lead Bishop Carroll Catholic to perhaps its best win of the season to date, 74-58, over Chestnut Ridge, which fell to 11-3.

The Lions got 24 points from Nate Whysong.

Will Tremel added 11 points for the Huskies, and Luke Repko scored 10 points.
