WEXFORD -- Trailing 30-11 at halftime, the Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School girls basketball team opened the second half on a 12-2 run en route to a 47-41 win over Pittsburgh North Catholic Thursday night in the North Allegheny/Butler Holiday Bash.
Anberlyn Petrecca, Maurie Querry and Morgan Ruggery each had 12 points for the Lady Marauders, who improved to 9-0.
North Catholic (3-4), outscored 36-11 in the second half, got 15 points from Alayna Rocco.

Altoona tops Butler
BUTLER -- Altoona broke out to a 20-14 lead after one quarter and went on to beat Butler, 55-44, at the North Allegheny/Butler Holiday Bash.
Senior Jaiden Krull led the Lady Lions with 19 points, Melana Eyer scored 15, and Lanie Wilt scored 10. Altoona, now 6-3, will face Armstrong in today's matchup.
