Wrestling
HERMITAGE -- The Hollidaysburg wrestling team competed at the Hickory Invitational on Saturday among 28 other teams and finished seventh.
Leading the way for Hollidaysburg was Braeden Sidney, who took second at 106. He got a pin for a win in the semifinals before losing by decision in the finals.
Landon Krupka placed fourth at 114. He got pinned in the semis but came back to get a fall of his own in 3:36 in the consolation semis. Lost by decision in the consy finals.
At 172, Mitchell Baronner placed fourth. He was pinned in the semis but came back to win by decision in the consy semis. In the consy finals, he lost in overtime by decision.
At 285, Wyatt Maines finished eighth. One of his victories was a fall in under two minutes.
Corry won the team tournament title with 230 points.
