JOHNSTOWN -- Kaden Claar registerd a game-high 14 points and came up with six steals as Portage had no problems with Homer-Center, 67-28, in the first round of the Richland Holiday Tournament in high school boys basketball action on Monday.
Mason Kargo dished out 11 assists, scored nine points, pulled down five rebounds and had two steals for the Mustangs, while Trae Kargo delivered 11 points and Andrew Miko added 10.
Michael Krejocic fronted the Wildcats with 12 points.
Portage will meet West Shamokin in tonight's 6:30 p.m. final.
