Martinazzi keys BC by Panthers

CRESSON – Brandon Martinazzi scored 24 points to lead unbeaten Bishop Carroll to an 82-58 win over Penn Cambria in high school boys basketball Monday.

BC also got double-figure scoring from Scott Lucas (15), David Swatsworth (15) and Darrin Weinzierl (11). PC was led by Drew Slatko-Wilt (15), Mark Mardula (14) and Adam Gould (11).

Nathan Davis’ 36 points were tops for Bellwood, which used a 22-13 showing to pull away in the third quarter. Jake Burch added 14 points to go with 10 from Jarrett Taneyhill for the winners.

Bellwood-Antis improved to 5-1, while West Branch fell to 6-1.
