Athlete of the week achievement: Hartman pitched six innings and was the winning pitcher for Hollidaysburg in its 6-2 PIAA Class 5A quarterfinal win over District 3 champion Lampeter-Strasburg Thursday and went 2-for-2 with two RBIs at the plate. He also went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the Golden Tigers’ 10-0 win over South Fayette in the PIAA first round on Monday.
Season update: Hartman is now 7-0 with a 1.54 ERA and has walked just three batters all season. At the plate, he’s hitting .303 with 19 RBIs and five doubles.
