Athlete of the week achievement: Mierley went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to help Hollidaysburg avenge its only loss in a 10-0 win over Tyrone. He also scored three runs in a 9-3 win over Clearfield and had a hit and an RBI in a win over Bishop Guilfoyle Academy.
Season update: Mierley is batting .474, second-best on the team, and has 14 RBIs, also second on the team for the 10-1 Golden Tigers. He leads the team with 19 runs scored as the starting shortstop.
