Athlete of the week achievement: Woomer scored 44 points in three wins — over Huntingdon, Central and Philipsburg-Osceola. Those wins currently have the Lady Eagles as the top seed in the District 6 Class 4A playoff field.

Season update: Woomer is averaging 14.4 points per game, six rebounds per game and shooting 74 percent from the free throw line.
