Athlete of the week achievement: Haney scored 43 points in a 70-63 win over Southern Fulton and added a game-high 20 points in a 57-22 win over Fannett-Metal.
Season update: Haney is averaging 20 points per game, and the Bulldogs have won eight in a row. He’s also averaging six assists and seven rebounds per game.
Coach Mike Harris’ quote: “Brayden is our best scorer, and our second best rebounder, but what a lot of people don’t know is that Brayden is No. 1 in assists in all of 2A in Pennsylvania. That is a great accomplishment, as he is one of the best passes in the area, if not the best passer. He is our team leader, and he pushes this team to do great things.”
