Athlete of the week achievement: George earned MVP honors at the Dodson Electric Tournament in helping Central Cambria beat previously unbeaten Penns Manor, 46-35, and Everett, which came into the final with just one loss this year, 51-45. George scored 34 points in the tourney and also had five blocks and four steals in the title game.
Season update: George is averaging 15 points and six rebounds per game and is shooting 82% from the free-throw line.
