Athlete of the week achievement: Vinglish had 17 carries for 214 yards and a touchdown and also caught a pass for 16 yards in a 41-7 win over Forest Hills in the District 6 Class 3A semifinals to avenge an earlier loss. Defensively, he had a team-high 17 tackles, including two sacks.

Season update: Vinglish has 1,206 yards and 17 touchdowns on 155 carries this season. He's also caught 11 passes for 198 yards and two scores. Defensively, he has a team-high 116 tackles, including 11 for loss.
