Athlete of the week achievement: Brouse led Central Cambria to a 3-2 win over Bald Eagle Area in the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference championship game with 15 kills after the Lady Red Devils had been swept by BEA earlier this year. She also had 15 kills and eight service points for Central Cambria in a 3-2 semifinal win over Hollidaysburg.
Season update: Going into the championship game, Brouse had 300 kills, 82 service points and 259 digs this season. She has more than 500 career kills and digs.
