Coach Nick Felus' quote: "First and foremost, Gavin has a tremendous work ethic. He's really dedicated himself in the weight room, and he is constantly working on his individual skills to become a better football player. He has an extremely high football IQ. His route running, ball skills, body control and ability to separate are as good as I've ever seen from a high school wide receiver. Not only does he excel on the field, he also excels in the classroom and gives back to the community.''
