Athlete of the week achievement: Hopsicker won the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the Inter-County Conference championship meet and finished fourth in the long jump. Later in the week, she won the 100, 200 and 400 dashes at the Juniata Valley Invitational and had a PR in the 100 with a time of 12.7 seconds.
Season update: Hopsicker is third in the Mirror's honor roll in the 100 and fourth in the 200.

At the ICC Championships, Maddie went from racing in hot/humid conditions to a rainstorm, but she powered through and secured first in the 100 and 200. At the JV Invitational, she ran a PR in the 100. Additionally, she ran the open 400 for the first time all season and placed first with a PR time of 1:03. Maddie is willing to step out of her comfort zone to push herself both on and off the track."
