Dickinson comes through for B-A

Sport: Track and field

Athlete of the week achievement: Dickinson won the 110-meter hurdles at the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference championships with a time of 15.63. He also finished third in the 300 hurdles with a time of 41.88.

Season update: Dickinson leads the Mirror's honor roll in the 300 hurdles (40.58) and is second in the 110 hurdles (15.44). He will be among the favorites in both events at this week's District 6 meet. He also won both hurdles in the 2A portion of the Mountain Lion Invitational and both at the Bellwood-Antis Invitational.

Coach Nick Lovrich's quote: "Kole has had a really good year. He's been one guy we could always count on for first places in those hurdle events and he's a great teammate. We're very proud of all his accomplishments this season so far."

How I got my start in track and field: "After my freshman year playing baseball, I wanted to do something different, and tried track and got into the hurdles."
