Athlete of the week achievement: Helsel had two hits and an RBI in a 6-0 win over Curwensville. She also had a double and three RBIs in C-K's 10-0 win over Northern Bedford and capped her week with a double and a triple and two RBIs in a 15-0 at Juniata Valley.

Season update: Claysburg-Kimmel is 8-0 and Helsel is hitting .381 with seven RBIs and 10 runs scored.
