Athlete of the week achievement: Padamonsky scored 18 points and came up big down the stretch in the Lady Tigers' 65-45 win over Shikellamy in the District 4-6 Class 5A championship game. She also contributed six points in a rout of Selinsgrove in the semifinals.

Season update: Padamonsky averages 12.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game for the Lady Tigers, who will now play in the PIAA Class 5A playoffs.

Coach Deanna Jubeck's quote: "Clare has made improvements in her game as the year progressed. She has worked on her post play as well as developing her outside shot. She is extremely coachable and has a willingness to learn to make herself a better all-around player.''
