Athlete of the week achievement: Royer was the MVP of the Lady Pirates Holiday Tournament. In wins over Glendale and Mifflin County, she had 35 points, eight assists, five steals and 10 rebounds.

Season update: Royer is averaging 17.6 points per game for the 8-1 Lady Pirates. She also averages 3.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 4.8 steals.
