Athlete of the week achievement: Baronner won the 50-yard freestyle and 100 freestyle, along with two relays, in wins over Somerset and Bellefonte. He also won the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly, along with the 400 free relay, in a victory over Richland. He also was part of the winning 400 free relay in the Clearfield Arctic Classic.

Season update: Baronner's top times are 50 free (23.58), 100 free (54.09), 100 fly (1:04.62).

Coach Emma Rubritz's quote: "Max is one of our two boys captains. He is always one to keep energy up and the environment light even when meets or practice can get intense. He has been incredibly impressive in the sprint events and has been a huge part of bringing our boys to a record of 8-2.''
