Athlete of the week achievement: In two shutout victories during the playoffs, Geishauser had more than 25 defensive clearances in each game.

Season update: Geishauser has led a Bishop Guilfoyle defense that has 10 shutouts this season and the lowest goals-against-average in the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference. The Lady Marauders are 20-1 and will play in the PIAA semifinals against Riverview tonight.

Coach Joe DeLeo's quote: "Sarah is one of the hardest working players I have ever coached. It is no surprise she has literally played nearly every minute of every game in her four-year career. She is a natural leader and has been a three-year captain of our program. Her speed, athleticism and soccer intelligence has been the driving force in our defensive success this season and we will continue to depend on her in the state playoffs."
