Athlete of the week achievement: Berkhimer won the District 6 Class 1A individual cross country championship with a time of 19:45.6.

Season update: Berkhimer will compete in Hershey at the PIAA championships on Saturday.

Coach Lacey Ceschini's quote: "She came into the season absolutely ready for district competition right out of the gate. Her and her father (Matt) work really hard. They have an exercise routine that's beyond anything I could ever prescribe for her. So, she comes in prepared, and maintains herself and her dedication to the sport throughout the entire season. She doesn't let off the gas for a second."
