School: Home schooled, but plays softball at Hollidaysburg

Age: 16

Grade: Junior

Sport: Softball

Athlete of the week achievement: Shay went 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs against Bellefonte and followed that with a 3-for-4 performance with four more RBIs in a 15-0 win over rival Altoona.

Season update: Hollidaysburg is 9-5. Shay is batting .614 with a slugging percentage of 1.182 and 28 RBIs. She has six home runs, seven doubles and an on-base percentage of .640.
