Athlete of the week achievement: Lutz cleared 15 feet, 2.25 inches in the pole vault competition and placed third overall at the Penn Relays. He was the top finisher from Pennsylvania with just Kentucky and New Jersey athletes ahead of him. He also won the event in a meet with Hollidaysburg and Harrisburg earlier in the week.

Season update: Lutz's 15-2.5 height ranks him first among area pole vaulters in the Mirror Track Honor Roll.
