Lovrich puts Bellwood team first

Sport: Track and field

Athlete of the week achievement: Lovrich was named the Outstanding Runner at the Inter-County Conference Track and Field Championships after winning the 800-, 1600- and 3200-meter runs. The Lady Blue Devils won the team title.

Season update: Lovrich will compete in the District 6 Class 2A Championships this Tuesday and Wednesday.

Coach Jennifer Soisson's quote: "Lexi is not just an incredible athlete, but an overall awesome human being. She always puts the team above herself. Lexi is hard-working, focused and a huge motivator of the team. She is a humble leader, on and off the track.
