Athlete of the week achievement: Kravetz won the District 6 Class 3A 100- and 300-meter hurdles events. She defeated rival Sarah Tate of State College for the first time this season in the 100-meter hurdles. She was also the runner-up in the 200-meter dash.
Season update: Kravetz broke the Altoona school record in the 300 hurdles and will compete in both hurdle events at the PIAA championships this weekend.
Coach Paula Foreman's quote: "Hailey had a phenomenal performance at districts with first place and a PR in the 100-meter hurdles, first-place and school record in the 300-meter hurdles, second place in the 200-meter dash and anchored the second-place 1600-meter relay, splitting her best of the season. She competes every time she steps on the line. She is focused, driven, trains hard and knows exactly what she wants. We're anxious to see her perform at the state meet."
