Athlete of the week achievement: Bean scored a game-high 34 points and had five rebounds and three assists in a 69-49 road victory over Bishop Carroll. He then scored 16 and had four rebounds and three assists in a 58-37 home win over Richland to help the Scarlet Dragons improve to 18-1.

Season update: Bean is averaging 13.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
