Athlete of the week achievement: Hoover defeated former PIAA Class 2A runner-up Calan Bollman of Chestnut Ridge in overtime to win the 145-pound championship at the Bedford Thomas Automotive Tournament on Saturday.

Season update: Hoover is 28-2 this season.

Coach Todd Niebauer's quote: "Anything Trent gets he deserves. He works super hard and works all year round. He's gained 20 pounds and gained a lot of strength. His skill-set is through the roof. We expected him to wrestle well, but he's taken a lot of steps forward this year, even more than he did last year."
