Name: Patrick Haigh

School: Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic

Age: 18

Athlete of the week achievement: Haigh scored 28 points in a 76-45 win over Bedford and followed that with 21 points in a 56-33 victory over Bishop Carroll to help coach Chris Drenning win his 200th career game.

Season update: Haigh is averaging 22.5 points per game for the 4-1 Marauders.

Coach Chris Drenning's quote: "Patrick's exemplary work ethic and dedication to the game sets such a high standard for all the players in our program. As a returning 3A all-state player, he's embraced the leadership responsibility that comes with being a great player. He is constantly working to develop different areas of his game and has evolved into an elite player at both ends of the floor. He played through being very sick this past week and led us to two important conference wins. We could not be happier that he's a Marauder."
