Athlete of the week achievement: Bednarski was named MVP of the Portage Art Burkett Memorial Tournament. She scored 12 points in a 48-14 rout of Claysburg-Kimmel in the opener, and she scored all 12 of her points in the third quarter of a 55-41 win over Penn Cambria in the final.

Season update: Bednarski is averaging 12 points per game for the 2-0 Lady Mustangs.
