Athlete of the week achievement: McLanahan helped Hollidaysburg sweep Bald Eagle Area in the District 6 Class 3A girls volleyball championship game.

Season update: The 14-2 Lady Tigers will host Greencastle-Antrim, the District 3 third-place finisher, tonight at 7 p.m.

Coach Dean Grenfell's quote: "Especially in the district championship game, she's been the core of the back row. She's the reason our offense runs as well as it does and is as dynamic as it is. Watching her grow from her freshman year to now, not only as a player but a leader of our team, she's been instrumental to the success the program has had since her time here."
